1.THE INSTITUTE AT A GLANCE:

The SANGAI HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, established on 3rd June 2002, is a co-educational English medium science institute sponsored by THE SOCIAL ADVANCEMENT FOR NEW GENERATION OF IRAMDAM (SANGAI), an organization of dedicated social and missionary zealed workers and educationists to promote quality education with modernization in Manipur.

The school is the outcome of along cherished dreams of many educationists of the region. It is unique in its function with more practical collegiate teachers who work at drawing out best in the students.

2. LOCATION OF THE SCHOOL:

The school is located at Chumbreithong, Mantripukhri, about 5 km from

Imphal on the western side of the NH-2 (Imphal-Dimapur road). The site

of the school is convenient for learning and is free from noise and air

pollution in a beautiful natural set up extended in an area of 1.23 acre.

3. OBJECTIVE:

The school aims at an all round development of the students with a view to strengthening personality and moral characters by providing latest teaching methods with well equipped laboratories, advanced computer education, library, special free coaching for all subjects, co-curricular activities, counseling and career guidance and interaction programmes lectured by eminent visiting professors from universities and colleges, with the essence of the “Smart School” so that students can avail of the opportunities to score higher marks in the academic and public examinations such as H.S.L.C. examinations and Higher Secondary Examinations, technical courses, etc. and lead him/her a life of complete man/woman in this advanced scientific world of today and tomorrow. The school is striving hard to motivate the students by arousing them a sense of creativity, self confident, self reliance and self dependent by imparting the best kind of education through guidance and effective modern techniques so that each and every student achieve all round development- body and mind and spirit, the essence of being completeness.

4. AFFILIATION:

The Higher Secondary section of the school is affiliated to the Council of Higher Secondary education, Manipur while the high school section of it is affiliated to Board of Secondary Education Manipur.

5. MOTTO:

The motto of the school is “EDUCATION FOR A COMPLETE MAN”.
